okay, so, i haven't posted here for a while. but! this is important. i've made a breakthrough in my ongoing study of ice queens. here goes:

ice queen vs. ice bitch: it's the NOBILITY. ice queens aren't just cold and untouchable but sexy as hell - they've got NOBILITY. not like - actual born-bred nobility, or not always? but just something about them that's highborn.

they have grace. they have presence. and! this is important:

they're POLITE. like...DEVASTATINGLY polite.

i think that's where most people trip up when they're trying to play an ice queen. they end up thinking they should just be icy-cold and cruel - but that's just an ice bitch. (or frigid bitch, if you will) there's gotta be that GRACE there. that nobility, and like - that knife-twisting politeness. or something!
